Great question! We have 3 unique cocktails, but each of them are built on a base of amaro, designed the same way these unique liquors have been built throughout history. Our drinks are inspired by the traditional amari found in Italian culture. Mala Madre took a bit to arrive at. It means “bad mother” in Italian. It’s a nod to all of us, regardless of whether or not we parent, being unable to meet the societal expectations. We are symbolically raising a glass to marching to the beat of your own drum. We can’t win in society these days, so, we took it as a compliment and put it on a can.
